These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Stackflow Academy, including our courses, digital products, templates, memberships, learning resources, website content, and related services.
By accessing the website, creating an account, or purchasing any offering, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Stackflow Academy provides online educational content focused on business automation, workflow design, no-code systems, digital operations, and related implementation resources.
Offerings may include self-paced courses, guided tutorials, downloadable templates, certification programs, cohort experiences, and other digital learning materials.
3. Account Terms
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a paid offering. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, billing profile, and account access.
4. Payment Terms
All prices are listed and charged in United States Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
We currently accept major payment cards supported by Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and other card types made available by Stripe at checkout. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
5. Recurring Billing Disclosure
If you purchase a subscription, membership, or installment-based offering, billing will recur automatically on the schedule disclosed at checkout until you cancel.
By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method at each billing cycle. You may cancel future renewals through your account settings or by contacting our billing team before the next billing date.
6. Free Trial Terms
We may offer free trials or promotional access periods for certain offerings. If a trial converts to a paid plan, your payment method may be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel in advance.
Trial eligibility, duration, and included features are determined at our sole discretion and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
7. Cancellation and Refund
Cancellation policies vary depending on the product or billing model purchased. Course purchases, subscriptions, and digital downloads are subject to our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Where a refund is permitted, processing will be returned through Stripe to the original payment method. You are responsible for reviewing the refund conditions before purchase.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
All course content, videos, text, templates, worksheets, frameworks, branding, graphics, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access purchased materials for your own internal business or educational use. You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or create derivative commercial products from our materials without written permission.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the platform, interfere with service availability, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, scrape protected content, share account access improperly, or use our materials in violation of law.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your conduct creates operational risk, infringes our rights, harms other users, or violates these Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or procurement of substitute services.
Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the relevant offering in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every business use case.
Educational content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, or other regulated professional advice.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally in good faith. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
Arbitration will be conducted in Hong Kong in English. You and we agree to bring claims only on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class, consolidated, or representative proceeding to the extent permitted by law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our business practices, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the Last Updated date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
