Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains our 14-day guarantee, the eligibility threshold for course consumption, and how approved refunds are processed through Stripe.

1. Refund Policy Overview

Stackflow Academy offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on eligible course and digital learning purchases, subject to the conditions described below.

This policy is intended to support fair review of our educational products while protecting the platform from abuse or excessive content consumption prior to refund requests.

2. Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, your request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date.

Refund eligibility applies only where the purchased course, template pack, or digital product has not been substantially consumed, downloaded excessively, or used in a manner inconsistent with a genuine trial of the material.

3. Completion Threshold

For course-based products, refunds are generally available only when less than 30% of the course content has been completed, viewed, or materially consumed.

We may rely on platform activity, video progress, lesson completion records, or download activity when assessing the level of usage.

4. Request Window

Refund requests submitted after the 14-day guarantee period are normally not eligible unless required by law or approved at our sole discretion due to a documented technical issue caused by the platform.

5. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, email billing@stackflowacademy.org with your order details, the email address used at purchase, the product name, and a brief explanation of the request.

We may ask for additional information to verify identity, review platform usage, and confirm the applicable purchase record before approving or declining a refund.

Once a request is reviewed, we will notify you of the outcome by email.

6. Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Stripe. After processing on our side, it typically takes between 5 and 10 business days for the refunded amount to appear, depending on the card issuer and banking network.

7. Subscription Refund Rules

Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once a renewal has been processed, except where required by law or where the renewal clearly resulted from an internal billing error on our side.

You may cancel future subscription renewals at any time before the next billing date to prevent additional charges.

8. Partial Refund Conditions

In limited circumstances, we may offer a partial refund or account credit where part of a bundled purchase has been materially used but the remainder has not, or where a service interruption significantly reduced access to the purchased material.

Partial refunds are granted at our discretion and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

9. Non-Refundable Items

Unless required by law, the following are generally non-refundable: completed certification reviews, custom consulting or setup services, previously refunded purchases, and products clearly marked as non-refundable at checkout.

We also reserve the right to deny refunds where we detect abuse, repeated refund behavior, unauthorized content sharing, or material use beyond the permitted evaluation window.

10. Dispute Resolution and Contact

If you believe a refund request was handled incorrectly, please contact us first so we can review the matter informally. Refund disputes remain subject to the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions set out in our Terms of Service.
